Jean and I worked non-stop this weekend to get Lucas's wood floor done. Jean's pregnant (woops, I didn't say that yet? Well, she's into her fourth month, so there you are. We ARE finding out the sex of the baby when we can and we HAVEN'T yet begun active name picking.) so she kept Lucas out of my hair while I did the sanding and varnishing...
I'm up in Toronto for some Apple training this week, so no dome goings-on. I miss Jeano and Lucas:)
Last weekend and this, Jean and I have been sanding, painting and varnishing various lengths of poplar that she and Bob prepared for baseboard and other finish wood in Lucas's room.
Yesterday we mitred our cuts (Thanks for the loaner saw, Britt!!) and installed most of the baseboard in his room. (We used my Dad's finish nailer - thanks!)
Today we're braving the heat once again and sanding and painting the moulding that will go around his closet and bedroom doors....stay tuned for pix...
