Halloween

we had a blast halloweening; Lucas dressed as a dragon and Merill as a lion. We drove down to Clifton in order to experience the small-town fervor; all the residents in downtown offer out candy to trick-or-treaters and many visitors from the surrounding suburbs ad rials
areas make it a crowded but fun time.
it always helps to have a parental rest-stop though. Jean made friends with Sarah and Duane, who live right down town. Of course such a nice gesture as they offered couldn't go without mishap; Merrill let go on their kitchen floor, though fortunately without costume.
We were also fortunate to have several friends of Lucas and their parents (also good friends of ours) over for dinner beforehand, and along with us to enjoy the revelry.
