Apple Picking Fall 2004

This past weekend we visited Jean's sister Kate, her husband Kip and their two kids, Alexander and Zeke. They live up in Brighton, a suburb of Boston.

Saturday we went apple picking and got some excellent new-england apples. That night we ate some incredible Korean food from the Seoul Kitchen and made an apple pie, which we ate for breakfast the next morning.

Sunday we went to the Lord of the Rings exhibit at the science museum (the only North American stop for that exhibit) and saw loads of incredible stuff (Geeks, eat your heart out) including costumery, armoury (and got to hold Gandalf's sword!!!), and special effects works. Sweet!

Then we made another apple pie.

We flew back Monday morning, all safe and sound.
