Yesterday the plumber put the basement plumbing in the foundation, and Jean and Charlie spread some more gravel. And then the concrete finisher came to look at the site.
Today the plumbing inspection was passed and Jean, Charlie, Kathy and Bob prepared the slab for inspection by laying down the vapor barrier and reinforcing wire mesh.
The inspector comes to inspect the slab tomorrow and on Friday we pour the slab. I say "we" when I really mean Jean, since I'll be at work and we're hiring a concrete finisher crew. But my heart's in it:)
