Into the Fray!

Over the weekend we began immersing ourselves into the details of our dreamhome construction. Much like a hot-tub, at first it was hot and confusing, but now I feel like we're in the groove.

Jean and I can rattle off details and constructo-buzzwords like how many cubic yards of concrete we need, "monolithic slab", "step-flashing", and "plumber's crack".

Jean is out picking up the plat from our Civil Engineering firm (second part, really), and getting ideas of how much and when (if at all) our sub-contractor jobs will cost.

We're sending out schedule-oriented details through the hearthwood herald, so if you're wanting for that sort of thing in your inbox, and you feel a profound need to work up some karmic credit through samaritan deeds, drop us a line!
